Flat fee or commission: what will QR ordering cost you?

Enter your monthly orders, your average check and another tool's fees. The calculator compares that tool's monthly cost with WaiterPilot's flat $200 per location and shows the sales level where the two cost the same. The formulas are below, so you can check every number.

How it's worked out

  1. Monthly table sales = orders per month × average check.
  2. Other tool = (sales × fee %) + (orders × fee per order) + monthly subscription, per location.
  3. WaiterPilot = $200 × locations. No commission, no per-order fee.
  4. Break-even sales = ($200 − subscription − orders × fee per order) ÷ fee %.

This is arithmetic, not a promise of savings. It leaves out payment processing you may pay anyway, staff time and features: WaiterPilot doesn't take payments or connect to a POS, while some per-order tools do. Read the worked examples for three restaurants in our guide.
